These are words that are used to describe him.
He and his family are no longer with us. I was shocked to hear this. I'm still in shock. My wife told me the news when she came to have lunch with me at work. I instantly became numb. I was afraid to admit that the first thing I thought was the worst. Than I started to come up with different scenarios. I couldn't deal with it anymore. So in my head I started writing. Working on my story about superheroes. Working on my articles on CD's and books, and how I was going to review them. I couldn't form complete thoughts. Very much the way this entry is going to read. I didn't know what to think. I still don't know what to think. The authorities are calling it a double homicide suicide.
The worst thought that came into my head might be true after all.Now what do I do?
Now what do I think?Do I forget the last 10 plus years of being entertained and awed by this man?
Passionate.Intense.
Driven.Respected.
These are words that are used to describe him.Do I let the last few days of his life dictate what I think of him?
What do I do?I know there are going to be a lot of people who will not understand these conflicting thoughts. And that's ok. They aren't me, and don't think or react the way I do. But I don't understand.
Passionate.Intense.
Driven.Respected.
These are words that are used to describe him. What words will they use now?
Should I use them too?I don't understand.
I'm losing my heroes, one by one.I'm losing my idols.
What should I do?I have been sitting here for almost 2 hours. I have written and rewritten this close to 6 times. Still I have no better understanding.
What do I do?James Maury Henson(better known as Jim Henson)

QUOTE OF THE DAY:
"The busy man is troubled with but one devil; the idle man by a thousand"
Spanish Proverb
So yesterday I got the Maximium Ride book...and I finished it. WAY AWESOME!!! When I got to work, I started to talking to one of the guys about weekend plans. I said laundry, Pizza/ponza rotta's and Blockbuster.
He then said, "Isn't that what you did last weekend?"
I said "Well yeah..."
Then he went home for the day.
Afterwards I started thinking about what I did over the last 8 days, and I decided I really need to get out. Here's a breakdown in no order, just a list of "done" things.
We watched (Season and I)
My Freind Totoro
The Cat Returns
Castle in the Sky
Porco Rosso
Frequency
How To Marry A Millionaire
About a Boy
Ella Enchanted
I watched
Invincible
Apocolypto
I finished reading
The Aprentice by Tess Gerritson
Mortal Memory by Thomas H. Cook
StormWatch Vol. 4: A Finer World (trade paperback) by Warren Ellis again
Suckers by Anne Bilson
Masque by F. Paul Wilson and Matthew J. Costello
Mad Moon of Dreams by Brian Lumley
Maximum Ride 3 by James Patterson
I'm currently in the middle of reading
Forever Odd by Dean Koontz.
WWE Magazine (July Issue)
I'm uploading pictures to flickr page, getting songs for my playlist page, working on entries, and catching up on web comics and blogs. Not to mention trying to get a Phlinx badge on pogo.
So what do you think, do I need to get a life? And especially one that doesn't involve a TV, a book/magazine, or computer. I'm so thinking that's a big "HELL YEAH!!!"
So with that said me and my non-life will talk to you all later.

QUOTE OF THE DAY:
"It is not necessary to change. Survival is not mandatory."
William Edwards Deming
October 14, 1900 - December 20, 1993
an American statistician, college professor, author, lecturer, and consultant.
It seems the longer I keep this up, the more I try to branch off to keep it fresh and new. The more I try to keep it fresh and new, the more I keep ending up in the same spot. I keep finding new places and I keep writing the same things. Well I say enough of that.
I have a few waste of space sites going on right now, and I'll keep you updated on how they go. The one I'm sharing first because it wil forever be a work in progress is a place where I'm putting up my photo's. Yeah I know I can do that here, and I will, sorta. I like having options. Sue me. LOL.
So if you want to see what I see those times I have my camera with me and charged
CoaceVisuals I'll try to add pics every couple of days.
Also if you go to my profile page, you'll see I have a Project Playlist Player (Y2JOSE07) there. But I know how obnoxious it is to get to a page and the music starts automatically, so if you want to hear the music you actually got to click on it. (this obviously doesn't relate to this site, but since I'm here so often, I like hearing the music) I'm going to start a music blog on there as soon as I have a little of extra time, which I'll be doing on the days I don't do the CoaceVisuals site. I haven't blogged anything on there yet (well other than what you have already read here), but I will start that soon.
Oh yeah, just so you know, there no rhyme or reason for the songs I choose. It's just a whim kind of thing, so you will get quite an eclectic musical experience.
Y2JOSE07 Is the link for that. Basically I'm going to start devoting more time to both of these, along with a couple more places closer to the end of the month. I figure by then I'll have enough back logged stuff to keep it all interesting. Well as atleast as interesting as I uausally am, which at times I know I am as exciting as watching paint dry.
I guess I have reached a point where I need to challenge myself as much as possible, in everything I do.
Well it's either that or I'm a glutton for punishment.

QUOTE OF THE DAY:
"Our ignorance of history causes us to slander our own times."
Gustave Flaubert
December 12, 1821 – May 8, 1880
a French novelist
It seems weird to me. That in a few short years, the survivors of WWII will no longer be with us. That was a thought that had never crossed my mind. That the men, women and children of that era will simply cease to be. Believe me, I have no "romanticized ideals" about WWII. It is/was as brutal and ugly as any war before and since than.
But, I have a deep respect for the survivors and that "time."
When allies were there for each other, supporting each other.
When most of the free world were united in the same cause.
When warriors returned from the battlefield to open arms of loved ones.
When victims were sheltered, fed and cared for.
When heroes were not just a men in uniform, but also the woman in the work place.
When patriotism was a tangible emotion.
When we respected our world leaders and our commanders.
Than I get slapped in the face with the reality of today. That the survivors of today's wars are someone else's problem. That we truly have no "allies" in the world. That the world is more divided than ever before. That today's warriors return, only to be chastised for doing what they believe is right. That the victim's are now exploited on television, in the news and in the media. That there really are no more heroes in this world. Where patriotism equals a "me first" thought process.
